All About Joubert & Seuns

Beginning as a simple venture focused on vegetables and maize, Joubert & Seuns, under the leadership of brothers Kobus and Francois Joubert, has transformed into a multifaceted enterprise, encompassing Agriculture, Plant Operations, a charming Padstal, and beautiful Wooden Furniture.

With a steadfast commitment to excellence, sustainability, and community engagement, Joubert en Seuns continues its trajectory of growth, delivering quality products and services to its valued customers.

Joubert & Seuns Padstal

What started as a small hut next to the busy N4 Highway, has transformed into a destination pit stop for travelers and locals alike. Stocking our locally produced produce, the Padstal is mostly known for their famous freshly squeezed orange juice. A wide variety of SA’s homely favourites like rusks, jams, nuts, biltong and dried fruit are also available in store.

We are open Monday to Sunday from 07h00 to 17h00.

Joubert & Seuns Citrus Farming

Our reputation proceeds us in the citrus industry. We currently cultivate 550 ha of citrus. In 2021, over 11 000 tons of produce was harvested. We farm a variety of produce which includes Navels and Valencia’s, with a total of 62 ha planted Lemon trees, 252 ha planted Macadamia Nuts as well as 254 ha soft citrus. This totals more than 800 ha under irrigation. We supply local and international markets with our top-grade produce.

Joubert & Seuns Furniture

In an endeavor to remain environmentally sustainable and up-cycle raw materials, we have established a woodworking factory. This factory has created many job opportunities for the local inhabitants. We manufacture custom-made wooden tables. The lumber used goes through the kiln for a period of 16 to 18 weeks. This rigorous process is monitored via a 24-hour control room, whereby a set temperature of 60 degrees is maintained throughout the kiln process. This process ensures that the moisture is set between 8 to 12 degrees. Our manufacturing process follows strict protocol, and our tables are issued with a kiln certificate to validate their authenticity and that their process has been documented. We manufacture an average of 20 tables per week.
